I-Line

You are here:>>Home >> Solutions >> Commercial >> I-Line
I-Line plug-on SPDs are high performance surge suppressors that easily plug onto the bus stack of an I-Line interior in Panelboards, Switchboards, Modular Panelboard Systems and Integrated Power Centers.
  • Versatility. I-Line plug-on units with Surgelogic SPD can be installed in I-Line panelboards, Modular Panelboard Systems (MPS), Integrated Power Centers (IPC) and QED switchboards.
  • Compact Design. Integrated SPD unit and HL or FI circuit breaker disconnect requires only 13½" of K-frame branch mounting space on one side of the bus stack. Competitive bus connected SPD units require from 9" to 13¾" of twin unit mounting space.
  • 200 kA SCCR. I-Line plug-on units with Surgelogic SPD meet the new 2002 NEC SCCR requirements. The I-Line SPD unit has been tested up to 200 kA SCCR to comply with 2002 NEC changes.
  • Retrofit Ready. I-Line plug-on SPD units are suitable for retrofit in all existing I-Line panelboards and switchboards. This equates to over 30 years of installed base having retrofit potential.
  • Labor and Money Savings. Easily installs in less than one minute and reduces the amount of cable and conduit required compared to wall mounted SPD units. Plus all phase connections are pre-wired at the factory.
  • Application Flexibility. The I-Line plug-on SPD unit is suitable for service entrance and non-service entrance application. Competitively Priced. The I-Line plug-on SPD unit has been price positioned at market levels that are competitive with comparable units.
  • Lower Installed Cost. The total installed cost of an I-Line plug-on SPD unit is less than a comparable externally mounted SPD that has been installed and wired by the electrical contractor.
